Route:

From the Durrand Glacier Chalet walk in the direction south, past the private hut. There take the trail leading up the hill to the top of the Chalet Knoll. Keep following the trail down the south side of the Chalet Knoll, to Marmot Lake. From the lake follow the trail through the valley leading north, past Christiane Lake, back to the Durrand Glacier Chalet.
