All hiking programs at Durrand Glacier run for 3, 4 or 7 days - Saturday to Tuesday, Tuesday to Saturday, Saturday to Saturday or Tuesday to Tuesday. For dates and prices please refer to the hiking schedule.

To ensure that you get the most out of your hiking holiday with SME, we meet early in a comfortable hotel/B & B in Revelstoke, B.C. Your adventure with SME begins with a scenic helicopter flight to the Durrand Glacier Chalet. Once the helicopter shuttle is finished and all guests have arrived at the Chalet, you will participate in an introductory talk about your stay with SME.

The chalet-style shower building and the main Chalet are fully equipped with cold and hot water and with 110 volt inverted AC power. Besides a separate toilet building with "Swiss quality cleanliness" there is also a flushing toilet inside the main Chalet.

After the introductory talk it is time to go hiking. SME offers a guided destination-hike every day. It is up to each guest to decide if they would like to join the guided group or if they prefer hiking on their own or self-guided together with a few friends. You can also spend the day relaxing at the Chalet.
