Every trail leads to solitude

The trails we've built will allow you to explore every part of the vast area around our lodge. But, in a way, each trail will lead you to the same wonderful solitude. Our chalet can be accessed only by helicopter. It's in a remote wilderness that few if any people other than our guests ever visit. So, once you leave our lodge each morning, you'll be heading off to discover a feeling of peace and quiet that too many of us lose touch with in our day-to-day lives.

It's almost certain that you will see no one else but the hikers you've chosen to travel with. Other than our trails, you'll see no other trace of humans. And you won't hear a sound that isn't a product of the wilderness around you.

This is probably the most wonderful thing we can offer our summer visitors. Hiking here is an opportunity to rediscover stillness and peace inside yourself, by opening yourself up to the remarkable tranquility of the Selkirk Mountains. Spending time in these mountains calms and enriches our lives. We're sure they can do the same for you.
